Being close to other breast cancer survivors prevents the loneliness many women feel who have breast cancer. You can learn a lot about breast cancer from hearing breast cancer personal stories.

There are many breast cancer personal stories on the internet. You can join a breast cancer forum. In a forum, you can talk back and forth with other breast cancer survivors. If you just have questions about cancer, you can ask them on a breast cancer forum.

You can tell your own breast cancer personal stories.

See if it is something you can learn from.

If you are too embarrassed or shy to talk, just listen to other breast cancer personal stories. Any kind of fellowship can be helpful.

Breast Cancer Walks And How They Help

You can join a breast cancer walk and can lean a lot about breast cancer from the information they have there. You can meet other women and men who have breast cancer at a breast cancer walk. You usually walk about 5k on a typical walk but the Susan Komen Breast Cancer Foundation offers walks of two to three days.

They raise money for breast cancer support and research. You pay about $25 to do a typical 5k walk. You usually collect pledges for walking in longer walks and the money goes to support all aspects of breast cancer.

There is a lot of money raised at these breast cancer walks and people have the opportunity to get to know other people who are in their same or similar position.

Breast cancer walks also introduce the concept that breast cancer is prevented from doing regular exercise. Exercise, such as walking, has been shown to prevent breast cancer. It reduces body fat, which is a cause of breast cancer.

Reading to Cope With Breast Cancer

There are other ways of coping with breast cancer. You can talk with friends or family, especially if they have had cancer in the past. You can read breast cancer books like the ones we have on this web site.

Many women have written books on their own breast cancer personal stories. You can hear how they heard about their cancer and how they came to survive it.

You can also buy books that are strictly informative. They teach you about breast cancer and what to expect if you have it.

You can read breast cancer articles. Magazines and even newspapers will have articles on breast cancer. They will be breast cancer articles that are personal stories about breast cancer. They can be articles talking about a new treatment for breast cancer. They can be articles explaining ways to prevent breast cancer or about genetics and breast cancer.

There are lots of ways to get support for breast cancer and you might want to try to do many of these ways. The more you learn about breast cancer, the easier it is to fight the disease.
